The
Bethany
Project
is
a
Christian
children’s
home
and
education
centre
in
Busega
District,
Tanzania.
Its
vision
began
in
1989,
with
the
aim
of
providing
a
safe
and
caring
home
for
vulnerable
children. The first children arrived at Bethany in 1997.
Today,
Bethany
is
home
to
more
than
140+
children,
many
of
whom
have
experienced
the
loss
of
parents,
abandonment,
abuse
or
extreme
poverty.
We
seek
to
provide
them
with
a
safe
and
loving
family
environment,
together
with
food,
clothing,
education
and
the
opportunity
to
grow
into
confident
young
people
with
hope
for their future.
Bethany
has
also
grown
to
serve
the
wider
community
through
our
Pre
and
Primary
School,
and
in
2026
we
opened
our
new
Girls’ Secondary School.
For
us,
Bethany
is
more
than
a
place
to
live—it
is
a
place
where
children
can
belong,
learn,
grow
and
look
forward
to
a
brighter
future.
